Meet one of our newest board members, Amanda Gennerman (she/her/hers)! Amanda is a Partner at Pines Bach, LLP in Madison, Wisconsin.

Meet one of our newest board members, Lee Vanderlinden (They/Them)! Lee is a supervising attorney for the National Immigrant Justice Center’s LGBT Immigrant Rights Initiative.

Meet Michael Aguhar (he/him)! Michael is a returning board member and is an attorney and community organizer.

Meet one of our returning board members, Hannah Cartwright (she/her)! Hannah serves as MIBF treasurer and is an immigration attorney who co-founded Mariposa Legal.

Meet one of newest board members Romelia Solano (she/her)! Romelia is a Ph.D. Candidate in political science at the University of Notre Dame and is the co-founder/research fellow at Mariposa Legal.

Meet another one of our returning board members Guadalupe Perez)! Guadalupe serves as MIBF's Co-Vice President and is a staff attorney with the Immigration Unit Pilot at the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defenders.

Meet another one of our returning board members Jesse Johnson (he/him/él)! Jesse currently serves as MIBF's Co-Vice President and is the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at the American Immigration Council.

Meet Prashasti Bhatnagar (she/her)! Prashasti is currently a Law/Public Health Post Doctoral Scholar at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.

As summer has sadly come to an end, we wanted to put a call to action to help us meet our fundraising goal of $60,000 by the end of the year.

Continuing with introducing various board members of our 2022-2023 board... Meet Colin McCormick (he/him)! Colin is a returning board member who currently serves as the MIBF Secretary! Colin is currently the Program director with the Interfaith Community for Detained Immigrants (ICDI).

We wanted to invite folks to the below special screening by the Latinx Therapists Action Network/Red de Salud Mental Latinx en Acción and Alagape of the 30-minute documentary "The Facility", next Tuesday, September 27. Register today!
